Summary

I have dedicated my adult life to assisting others in learning and in improving their lives, across a diverse range of people: from ‘lifers’ in prison, to CEOs of major companies.  My ability to build rapport, communicate complex ideas and guide changes in behaviour is the foundation of my work as a facilitator and trainer. 

It was my time with Geese Theatre Company (2000 – 2004) that consolidated my expertise as a facilitator and designer of drama-based and active learning.  Working across the criminal justice system with inmates in prisons, young offenders, and with prison and probation officers presented a huge challenge.  Running a workshop with twenty lifers, for example, the facilitator has to be able to build rapport within minutes, to demonstrate the worth of what is being done, to include everybody in the process and to consolidate some useful learning outcomes. This proved an excellent training ground for working with professionals in businesses and organisations!

I now specialise in Inclusion and Mental Wellbeing projects, believing that the two are inextricably connected. It is my commitment to a robust, creative and intelligent approach, coupled with excellent interpersonal-skills that have enabled me to contribute to the learning and development success of many organisations.

Since March 2020, I have translated my training to online platforms and continue to deliver engaging virtual sessions for organisations across all sectors.
